Description
A short bus tour to the capital town of Zakynthos Island. The Zakynthos town has been rebuilt since the big earthquake of 1953, but the old Venetian style has been kept. We will start sightseeing with a visit to the church of St. Dionysios, who is the patron of the island. Afterwards, we will stop over in Solomos Square, where museums and National Poet’s Statue are located. Then we will continue our trip to Alexandro Roma Street – the liveliest place in town – full of shops, taverns and bars. We will finish our excursion with a visit to the famous area of Bochali, which is the highest point of Zakynthos city from where the view is absolutely astonishing.
