The capital of Lemnos is Myrina, where you will get to visit a wonderful castle that will surprise you with its unique view. And finally, the Philoktitos Cave. According to mythology, it is said that Philoktitis was bitten by a poisonous snake on the way to Troy. His fellow soldiers then decided to leave him in the homonymous cave. It is said that he lived there for over 10 years and was healed by the miraculous land of Limnia. Going to this cave, you can enjoy its wonderful waters!
A Must- See while visiting Limnos is the Sand Dunes. This is an extremely rare phenomenon that reminds us of the Sahara Desert!
The Beaches
Without a doubt the first thing we have in mind when taking a holiday on an island, is nothing but its beaches.

The island also offers a different wheat variety of which their bread is made, which is something worth tasting. Do not forget the local honey, in which the locals count many years of production experience.
